Ramanan, is a Part 2 architectural assistant, and brings to James Mackintosh Architects experience in preparing and submitting planning applications for bespoke residential projects. Ramanan is passionate about bringing new life to historic buildings while preserving their integrity, through recording and analysis to understand a historic buildings identity.
Ramanan joined JMA having recently completed his Part II at the University of Nottingham. During his masters degree, Ramanan studied the concept of continuity through the process of recording facts, seeing history and assessing significance. This allowed Ramanan to develop his understanding of context and how it influences the proposals we develop.
Besides absorbing himself in the world of architecture, Ramanan has another string to his bow – he’s a semi-professional Violinist with 75k monthly listeners on Spotify, and over 3 million total streams!
